OOC- There are quite a few civilians in the bar, not every kobold is in the kobold gang. Randomly blasting is the fastest way to end up in the district gallows as a warning to any other crazy casters that this isn't the jungles of Xendirk. This is the capital city of the strongest nation on Khorvaire. Kobolds may be slimy little things, but in Eberron they are much more accepted than in other game worlds. Hence their own bar in the capital city. The last thing we need is the newbie to the group starting a race war with the entire kobold nation.

The make-up explosion would, in Tondrek's plan, cause a distraction and/or drive the civs away, letting us work in the meantime. Stealth would be ideal, but not all of our strong points (and no one has told us where the boss is). Don't think any of us were *actually* planning to just wade in an kill them all; the dwarf just sounds bloodthirsty.
Side note: Sharn isn't the capital of Breland; Wroat is. It is Khorvaire's largest city by a landslide.

Roswyn will use ghost sound to inform the others backstage about what she has learned... I will do that in this post.
I was under the impression that we hadn't identified any gang members or hostiles in the main part of the club as of yet. I'm kind of undecided if we should try to keep the civilians in the club or try to get them to clear out. If we want them to clear out, I think stonegod's plan is good. Thinking about it a bit more, it seems like that might be the way to go if for no other reason than it would be pretty hard to actually keep everyone in. There's a lot of them, including all the dancers here in the back with an exit only a few steps away.
Maybe Tamarand should try to sneak over first... then the rest of us could just openly approach the room and wait for someone to try to stop us. We might be able to get pretty far before that happens. Especially with Shava providing a nice distraction already. In character, Roswyn is still thinking that she should try talking with the gang leader first... not with very high hopes of avoiding a fight, but it's her inclination to at least try... Out of character, it's probably not an optimal strategy.
Roswyn smiles at the kobold dancer.
Draconic
"Thanks, honey... you like these rags? I got them from a little shop in Korranberg, I can give you the name but it's a long way from here."
She turns away slightly and rubs her mouth, trying to cover her lips moving as she magically projects her voice back to the stairway where the others are hiding.
"She told me the boss is in a meeting in that room over there, where she just pointed... shall we stroll on over and say hello? Sneaky first if possible?"
No I don't want a- Oh wait. Shava smiles as she gets an idea. "Can I? Oh thank you, that's be great!" She jumps to her feat and quickly makes her way over to the walkway on the left side of the room. If no one gets in her way she will quickly lithe onto the stage.
Shava moves up on to the stage, trying gracefully to somersault up there, but her forehead hits the edge of the stage, sliding along it before she ungracefully pulls herself up.
Brenron
You notice the kobold dancer pilfers one of Shava's daggers as the half elf moves toward the stage.
Perception 20(backstage only)
You notice the kobolds keep reaching into the desk drawers for more of the powder.
Draconic
"Boss doesn't let us go far. I prolly can't get there anyways."
ooc
I like this planning stuff. You guys are doing good here.
Shava shakes off the nice smack she gave herself, and forced out a silly giggle. I am never gonna forgive myself for this. Roswyn. . .you guys can shown up anytime now. . . She put on a big smile, gave a little wave to the crowd, and made her way towards the pole.
ooc
I just assume there's a pole.
"Sjaadur ve gris." She said as she made her way through the other dancers.
Draconic
"Excuse me girls."
She grabbed onto the pole and began swinging around. Her years on a ship made it easy for her to move up and down with barely a touch, but her dancing only improved moderatley. She giggled some more to compensate, all the while scoping the room, from her new vantage point. She tried to keep the doorman in the corner of her eyes. My first target soon enough.
The kobold talking to Roswyn cranes her neck, looking over at the stairs. "Who is back there?" she speaks in common.
Stonegod
Tondrek thinks that a fire attack readied for one of the drawers to open would create a significant boom.
The half-elf dancing on the pole, gathers the attention of the doorman and several around them. He glares her way, crossing his scaly arms. At the moment he does nothing. A couple copper pieces bouce on the stage.
"Well, you're the expert on boom-boom, so if you think it'll work, go for it." Tamarand says, although he moves to a position of cover, just in case.
ooc
Go for it. stealth (1d20 14=15) *sigh....really? Tamarand sucks at hiding. I think I bought the wrong camouflage gear, shouldn't have gone with the ol' arctic white while in the shadows
Roswyn does have an at-will fire attack, although it's an area 1, might be tricky not accidentally wasting a dancer or two. Would prestidigitation work? Can't that be used to light candles and so forth?
If Tondrek tells Roswyn about the idea, Mage Hand + either Prestidigitation or Scorching Burst should do the trick.
Ok then... stealth doesn't seem to be so hot, shall we try to brazen our way on in then? Seems like the thing to do. I will start the ball rolling.

Draconic
"Oh, those are my bodyguards. My boss may be a scale louse, but he does try to protect the merchandise..."
Roswyn winks at the kobold dancer and flips a gold piece her way, then turns back to the staircase, speaking openly. "Hey, 'entourage'. I found out where my 'appointment' is. Let's go... out through the curtain and hang a right!" Roswyn strides over towards the split in the curtain but then waits for her companions to catch up . (OOC: who goes first? Maybe Roswyn should, her appearance might distract the kobolds in the club for a moment or two, but I'd definitely want everyone else close behind!)
