Arkavas calls back over the crackling of the lightning. "I was thinking we could come one by one across this hall, but there seems to be a bit of an obstacle on the other side of this door." He points behind himself toward the spike. "There's no room for us all to come through safely, unless we get this blasted lightning taken care of. Perhaps if Sweetness and I can stop the lightning, perhaps those that cross through the first hallway can congregate in this room as the others make their way."
Arkavas turns his attention to the lightning spike straining his memory to see if he can recognize either the magic or the mechanics behind this hazard.
OOC
It's not my turn, so I'll wait for others to post their actions, but on my turn, I'm planning on taking a look at the spike with an Arcana check.
You can take your next turn now if you wish. I don't care for someone taking two turns in a row against those traps, but I'll ask anyone to state your actions as Minor/Move/Standard, as traps might have (like the force door) a number of attack per turn, ect...

From a safe distance, Radtash looks for a mechanism to disable the lightening, and tells his allies what he finds. Knowing when he is no longer needed, he then begins twiddling his thumbs, waiting for someone else to figure the trap out.

Sweetness trotted forward to stand behind Arkavas as the group examined the lightning-filled hallway. "Not going to go look for keyhole in that, yep yep yep," the gnoll muttered.
OOC: Letting everyone get a shot at their examination before we figure what our options are
Gruff and Arkavras both come to the same conclusion: The lightning is attracted to those touching a surface in the room. Jumping, tumbling, or flying might allow one to move without attracting the lightning.

Hmm, Arkavras, Gruff, that gives me an idea. Maybe we could use the bird-man bodies (again!) to attract the lightning away from us? If we pile a few of them together, it could possibly attract enough lightning to let us move through safely.

"No good. If we step on the Kenku's they'll just conduct and charge us. We need to step lightly.
Sweetness. You're the Athletic one. You're going to have to jump to the other side. A series of two or three two-foot hops should get you there without getting too cooked.
Then see if you can turn the blasted thing off."
Actions
Minor: Draw staff. Getting ready for another Curative Admixture .
At Arkavas' suggestion, Sweetness stepped up to just near the edge of the lightning-warded space. Even there, the static charge in the air made her pelt bristle up oddly. She leaned forward, looking things over. "Anybody know how to turn that off if I get over there? Hate to get there then get fried looking for a switch, yep yep yep..."
OOC: Won't be able to post again before tomorrow night, Sweetness will use her agility to try to get through/turn off the trap. Thievery +12 (+14 tools), Acrobatics +12, Athletics +10, Tumble (encounter power), move 7. (Roll whatever seems appropriate)
Sweetness tumble down the hall with the ease of a circus artist. He seems to take a few static shock, but nothing that would arm him. Only his body hair is straight upward on his body when he reach the other end. He takes a look at the iron spike, but he cannot work out anything out of it.

While she could barely hear Arkavas over the crackle of the lightning in the hallway, Sweetness heard enough to get a clue. Looking around, she spotted the lever he had mentioned- very cautiously, the gnoll pulled on the switch...
OK, there is a control panel, let's assume it is a lever.
There is not one but many lever that seems to have many possible position. Sweetness start to try to crack the control panel. All things seems to go well but suddenly, an large arc of lightning jump from the spike to Sweetness and the back to Arkavas who was looking at the Gnoll in the door frame. Both suddenly find themselves in the room north of the forcefield.
Arkavas insight allow him to get +2 Refl against the trap attacks (until the end of the story). That's not enough for the trap accurate strike it just did.
Arkavas hit for 9 damage.
Sweetness crit for 10 damage.
Both have been teleported to the force field room.
Both have ongoing damage 5.
I'll need you to save until success. I remind you someone else can do as a Standard action a Heal check (DC15) to allow someone to save, so it's time that everyone do something.
If Sweetness and Arkavas decide to roll there save, they take 5 damage, everyone else can try one Heal check before they try there save.
Gogmorthak looks behind him and finding the singed Arkavras and Sweetness he turns around and moves to try and help rid them of the little sparks flashing. But his efforts are clumsy and untrained.
Sweetness began to give a chorus of barking yelps as she danced about, batting at the dancing sparks that drifted off her pelt. "That didn't work, yep yep yep. Any other ideas?"
"Arkavas, I told you to keep your dang head away from that lightning! Here, let me patch you up. There's no sense in me letting the guy who keeps me standing in a fight get all electrified."
