Were you robbed when your former buddies threatened you and told you not to take a part? If it is rightfully yours, then you were robbed, but if not, then they were only legally defending their own property. It all comes down to the question of ownership, and that depends on exactly what happened in that underground keep. It is never easy to determine what happened far from civilization when the accounts of those present differ.

If you wish to file a claim against these five people, you can go to the courthouse and state your case. I am not a magistrate; it is not my job to decide who is right. Zurd then mutters something about justice and how apalling it is in a city that claims to believe in the rule of law the authorities will not defend his rightful ownership. "You haven't seen the last of me," he says as he storms out of the shop. He continues until he is clear out of town. Velmont, thanks for roleplaying your part in this little drama. Lot, hero4hire, TwistedMindInc, assuming you've wrapped up your business in di Senzio's Shop, please return to the adventure thread. It sounds like you want to assume the shield and axe are +1 each, to get the mundane stuff appraised, and to divide the spoils accordingly. I'll give you the wrapup in the adventure thread once you've all checked in there and confirmed that that's the plan.

Richard walks around and between the fuming party members, through the counter-door and into the back, casting a glance at his would-be associates from not-so-long-ago. He wonders at the silent reception his greeting received, and yet, is glad he didn't walk into a brawl from the look of things.
Once clear of the front room, Richard will turn to the woman. "Good day to you, I am called Richard, I was wondering if you might have any healing potions or mayhap a magical trinket of some kind to look over?"

"Yes, you can. Is there a maximal price at which you want to buy your healing potions? Once Rinaldo will come back from his trip, he will probably finish teh deal he had started to do with the temple, but the items supplied by teh temple will cost 95% of there normal price. A small saving, but less then items bought from some other person, as we usually buy items from customers at 60% of teh price, which allow us to sell it at 80% of there average market price."

OOC Ah! Actually I wasn't aware of that! I thought you only had access to the PHB for equipment, or had to be in an in game situation.
(OOC: I knew it! It seemed fishy to me that someone would put money down and gamble on potions coming in just to save 5 GP. You'd have to be a real miser. But yeah, you can buy cheap magic stuff at market price elsewhere in Orussus--Rinaldo's is the place to go for the best prices, if they actually have what you need)

"It is pretty exceptionnal I must tell. Such items cost very much and we have been running for only a year. We are still buidling our ressources to keep more valuable items. Also, we must find them and at good price, as we try to sell any items at lower cost for the benefit of our customers" She turns around and takes the the rapier. "This rapier has been bought to a group of adventurer. It is not new, but it is in perfect shape. The enchantment is basic but it makes it sharper than what any balcksmith can do. And over all, it is sold at only 1850 gp, a price you'll never find on the market."

"Yes, such items are on the rare side. Still, in my profession, I must be inconspicuous on occasion and wearing armor isn't that practical. I suppose one must do what one can given the circumstances, though."
