We are more likely to encounter battle outside the city, so I will agree with Eanos' logic that we should remain together. Is this satisfactory for us all?"
Eanos nods with a faint smile. "It sounds like a fine plan to me."
Quarion nods. "Very well then. Master Scodi, we will return here tomorrow morning to update you on our progress. Lady Isabella, 'twas a pleasure making your acquaintance." Quarion nods his head at both of them.
To the others he says, "The east gate at sunset. Alden, Dae, quel marth, good luck. Eanos, Joru, let us off."
I've been gone for almost a week, and next week likely isn't going to be much better. My access will be spotty till some time in December due to the Holidays, as well as my Wife's upcoming surgery. Please NPC me as appropriate.

I liked how the group dynamics were falling in place, I'm disappointed to see this adventure trail off, but I don't want Quarion to be sitting around doing nothing either. Thoughts?

I'm willing to give him about a week, and if he doesn't show by then, we'll have to choose some other direction. In the meantime, I can check with the adventure judges to see what he'd sent in, to see if it's possible to run from that. While I'm doing that, we can get a show of hands here...if it turns out that he's not coming back, who would prefer to return to the RDI, and who would prefer to play this out with me or someone else DMing?
If it's possible to continue, I'd prefer that. We've just got the exposition out of the way and got down to the meat of the adventure. If we go back to the inn, I'd have to start over from scratch somewhere else.

Whoops! I'm confusing my adventures. But everything I said still holds, just... it's been even longer, and wmasters is completely gone. I personally would prefer to continue on this adventure. I agree with hafrogman, we just got the fluff out of the way, and we're about to get some crunch. If the new DM wants, we could shorten it considerably. I'd be very happy with that.
