Saithnar exits the Red Dragon Inn and looks about to find a comfortable place to wait till Hans shows up to gather the group of people he has hired. Setting his backpack against the outside wall of the Inn and leaning against it himself, the red haired man passes the time smoking his pipe and watching the people of the Orrussus come and go around him. Closing his eyes, he seems to be asleep on his feet as he feels the thoughts of the people nearby brush against his mind as they pass.
shortly after Nura comes out of the inn. Spotting Saithnar she stops up and starts to study him. Is he asleep, no no no no he can't be. He would fall over if he was. I wonder what giant ants eat? But he looks so relaxed, maybe he is one of the other. A bit more mandral would make the acid stronger yes, yes. Or maybe he is just someone relaxing and hasn't tilted yet. hmm from the towers, no it don't make sence.

Saithnar shakes his head slightly as if shooing away an annoying insect. Then, with his eyes still closed, his head turns towards the elven girl and cocks to the side slightly as if listening. Finally, his eyes open and he raises one eyebrow while taking a deep puff off his pipe. Releasing his breath and blowing a small cloud of smoke out of the corner of his mouth (so that it doesn't shoot straight into Nura's face) he speaks, "I'm sorry, what was your question?" he asks as if she had been talking to him but he missed it due to distraction.
hu Nura sems a bit surprised by the question, ohh well i did not say anything but i have 1000 of questions, now that you ask. Are you waiting for Hans? By the way I am Nura She offers her hand.
Taking her hand in his momentarily, he introduces himself. "My name is Saithnar, and yes I am waiting for Hans as well. Thousands of questions? Hmmmm..." Saithnar pauses to consider while taking another puff from his pipe. "Perhaps we should limit it then to your questions concerning me." the red haired man suggests.
"Hmmm...Magic? No. Most refer to it as 'Psionic' power. It is power shaped and weilded by my mind alone. I am able to link minds with others if they wish it to speak without words. Or attack a mind directly or by means of attempting to make an enemy a friend. I am also able to create rays of various energy with which to damage a foe." Saithnar explains to Nura while watching the cityfolk walk by.

__________________ Current Campaign:The Shattered Isles Homebrew - Hammer (Minotaur Fighter 8), Kirra (Drow Rogue 8), Shedin (Dragonborn Paladin 8), Zahar (Half-Eladrin/Half Drow Bard 8), and Seahorse (Halfling Rogue 8). Currently the group is in the Feywild, trying to discover who is poisoning the drow.
most intresting, how does the mind create the energies needed? i mean magic is energies from somewere else? and can this happens naturaly, ohh yes and does it work were magic does not? Nura seems extremely excited.
"Unfortunately, I do not have knowledge of how it works. I just know that it does. Magic shapes energies from without, perhaps some have energies within that are able to be shaped in similar ways. I have never had a chance to experiment with using my powers in an area where magic does not work though. In fact, I have never heard of such a place." Saithnar explains as best he can.
As Munchin exits the Red Dragon Inn, he sights a gathering. Upon further inspection, he realizses that the people before him were the same who had signed up for the ant killing job as well. Calmly, he approches the group and addresses them, "Greetings fellow travelers and soon to be bug squishers!" he said jovialy.
Ximix comes around the front of the tavern leading a horse. The beast seems to be nuzzling the Elf's side, the action almost pushing the thin priest off balance. He doesn't seem to notice.
Stopping a few paces from the main of the group, Ximix idly pulls a carrot out of his pocket and feeds it to the horse. Grunting it's approval the animal munches contentedly while the Elf stands, staring at the RDI's magical beacon.
Sure! the more the merrier! just sign in on the poster in the RDI for story completeness and whatnot.
(You told me this one was starting today.. got room and time for one more late entry? If so, there's a character I'd love to introduce and hitch right along on this one, to be posted up in the next hour or so.)
Jallembo arrives in front of the Red Dragon Inn. He notices Ximix with a new horse immediately. The rest of the crowd is unknown to him.
"Hello Ximix.. how are you? Nice horse.. eh eh.."
Then turning to the others he says: "Hello, I'm Jallembo.. Anyone of you working for the.. Mining Company??<I've signed for the job."
