How goes MM 3e?

How goes it, Talath? When can we expect to be able to see Malls & Morons 3rd Edition?

Unfortunetly, I cannot answer when it will be ready.

What I can say is, this is shaping up to be a better, more solid game then before. Some changes arent much, others are more.

One of the notable differences is that types are now templates. Base humans have no special abilities (level adjustment -1). By adding a type (level adjustment +1), you have a normal character with an assortment of type abilities. If you want to add more then one type, it's even easier then before.

If you want to make a fantasy mall game and have elven freaks or dwarven valley people, you can do it. Use the base race from the PHB, add a template, and voila. Innovation.

Also, the iconics will change

For example, the Trekkie of 2e is the Ultimate Mall Citizen of 3e

and how!

Hey, if you're still going to have a section for fan-submitted material, I'd like to do a rewrite of the Dungeon Master prestige class I sent in way back when th' new edition goes up - I've had a moment of clarity as to what I was actually trying to accomplish, and what's there now isn't it.

(Besides, the flavor text is starting to make me wince. )

- Sir Bob.

P.S. Nih!

SirBob, email me because there are a few things of yours I wish to include that were lost due to the message board move.

I will then tell you how to make a PrC in M&M3e

Man I wish I had a copy of that on my computer... but most of it was written using imput on that message board etc and only existed as replies on that board.

NUTS.

well if I remember correctly it mostly focused on the power of being knowinly stupid and silly. It included the ability to use a wooden sword, speak in sub-titles, get special "strike!" attacks, and generaly do things in plain sight no one would notice because you instinctively ignore the really stupid people.

and you wore a shirt around your head.

hmmm might try to re-write it.

You can find the game at http://www.d20reviews.com/mallsmorons

Completely free, and you can persue the rules on the site

That is so cool.

Thanks for the link. I really think there should be a "skater punk" class that mimics the paladin.
you know with a shate board or a scotter that is his steed.

BTW... I am the Teen witch Prestige class.

Another update, please?

Talath, anything new you can tell us?

Do you have a date yet for when it will be out, or is that still an unknown - or possibly an estimate of when it will be done?
