While desperately searching for Ashley, who remains in the hands of the Cabal, the Sanctuary team encounter a con artist named Kate Freelander. After her relationship with the Cabal went sour she gives Helen the location of a secret Cabal facility that may lead them to her Ashley

Everything with the mercenary was predictable.

I wonder if Sanctuary and Warehouse 13 has some of the same writers. Not that they are really alike, but both have something of that retro-steampunk-pulp vibe occasionally.

I was really hoping that this first episode wrapped up that plot from last year and started htis year off focusing on the sanctuaries purpose.
