I've god a college of glamor bard in my game, and have played a samurai fighter. Both are fun and have good, worthwhile, but not unbalanced abilities.

Mobile is amazing for a monk. You become the most insanely... mobile... character, able to weave in and out of combat, getting behind enemy lines, set up allies for sneak attack or other abilities that require positional tactics, etc. The first monk in my 5e game took it early on and makes use of it almost every round of combat. To me, that frequency of use alone says that it's a damn good feat...

The 20th level pc is a knowledge cleric, the 19th level dude is a vengeance paladin. It's a lot harder to answer the second part of your question. I run a sandbox and the players often swap pcs in and out of the various groups running around the setting. So Bling (the cleric) has adventured with anywhere from two other pcs to a big adventure with about 20 other pcs at various points. I'd say...

I'm the dm, not a player in this case, but one pc has hit 20th in my campaign and another has reached 19th.

Dragonborn are a race unto themselves. Half-dragons are the spawn of a dragon and something else. So you might have a half-dragon giant alligator, for instance- which is pretty far removed from the dragonborn. Or a half-dragon displacer beast. Etcetera. It sounds as though you are analogizing the dragonborn with basically a half-dragon human, but there are far more possibilities for the...

I run a sandbox, so the 'plot' is only one of many ongoing adventure options in the setting. The new party will choose its own path, at least to a great extent. It may never intersect with the path that the old party was following.

I have run or played in long-term games using AD&D, 2e AD&D, 3e, 4e, 5e, Savage Worlds (Deadlands and Supers), Paranoia (like four or five sessions, which is really long for Paranoia games), Amber Diceless Roleplaying, Star Frontiers, Warhammer Fantasy 2e, Marvel Superheroes, Vampire, Mage... I can't think of any others off hand.

d20 System Character Sheet 1.5
I tweaked my d20 system sheet to reflect some of the design improvements I made in my other sheets. This also uses layering to allow you to switch between Hit Points and Vitality/Wounds, so you'll need Acrobat 6 or later to use it.

I also made a s...

d20 Modern Character Sheet 2.01
Besides reflecting some changes to my D&D sheet 2.0 (and previewing at least one yet to come), this sheet is also available in a version tweaked for the Urban Arcana Campaign Setting.

d20 Modern Character Sheet 2.5
This four-page form now features layers which allow you to customize the look of the sheet between d20 Modern, Urban Arcana, d20 Future, d20 Past, and more! (This does mean, however, that you will need Acrobat 6 or later to use it.) Don't want the si...

Castles & Crusades Old Skool Player Character Records
After threatening to make one like forever, I finally got around to making a C&C character sheet - the first of what I hope will be several - probably because actually playing some C&C looms on the horizon. I had started making an "old skool" sheet m...

Castles & Crusades Spell Planner Sheets 1.0
Another old skool option for those playing C&C, mimicking the look and feel of the AD&D REF2 sheets from 1986. Uses layers and therefore requires Acrobat 6.

Castles & Crusades New Record Sheet 1.0
While C&C is an old school game, some folks prefer a less old school character sheet. This is a draft version of such a sheet for C&C. Uses layers and therefore requires Acrobat 6.

Ars Magica Third Edition Character Sheet, Jason Buss Edition
This is the way-cool sheet that my friend Jason Buss created for the Rabenstein saga. The current ruleset then was the third edition, so you might have to write in some things by hand to use this with the fourth (like experience points for Arts), but...

Ars Magica Fourth Edition Character Sheet
Ars Magica is my favorite fantasy roleplaying game, hands down. I'm working on a FileMaker Pro database for the game; here's a printout of the character sheet. The design is based in part upon one produced by the Alpha Storyguide of our Rabenstein sa...

Mad irishman's Ars Magica Fourth Edition Character Sheet 2.1
While I like my Ars database and am fairly happy with the character sheets it prints out, its sheets lack a certain style that I wanted back. So I finally sat down with InDesign and created another version specifically to be filled out by hand. Not s...

Mad Irishman's Ars Magica Fifth Edition Character Sheet 2.0
This is quite different from 1.0, for a couple of reasons. One, I was (perhaps ironically with a game like Ars Magica) looking for something more "modern." Second, I wanted something that might attract new blood to the game. To that end, I adopted a ...

Mad irishman Ars Magica Fifth Edition Medieval Character Sheet
I had promised this one for quite some time, finally finished it, uploaded it, people liked it, and then somehow managed to kill the download part at some point. :^( Anyway, the exact opposite of the "d20-style" sheets below: per request, a more "mag...

Mad Irishman's Arcana Evolved/Unearthed (Malhavoc Press/Sword & Sorcery) Character Sheet 2.5
I updated my AU sheet to be usable with the new Arcana Evolved rulebook. Uses layers to allow you to customize the sheet, so requires Acrobat 6 to work properly. Like the old fonts better than the one used in the AE book? Toggle a couple of layers an...

Mad Irishman's 2300AD Character Sheet 2.1 (GDW)
My favorite hard sci-fi game, now defunct but with an avid following. This character sheet is a two-page sheet with lots of space for skills and weapons, as well as contacts and equipment. Replete with hit location/armor table.

Mad Irishman's 2320AD Character Sheet 1.0 (Quiklink)
Given my love of the setting, I was thrilled when I was asked to make the official sheet for 2320AD, based on my similarly-official Traveller d20 sheet. Unlike the one in the book, however, I used my layering magic to allow folks to tweak this one ju...

Mad Irishman's AD&D 1st Edition Character Sheet 1.0
or nostalgia's sake, I'm posting the first AD&D (first edition) character sheet I ever made, circa 1989. Before that I was using photocopies of the ones TSR put out. I believe I used MacPaint and SuperPaint on my Mac SE/30 to create a two-page bitmap...

Mad Irishman's AD&D 1st Edition (Oriental Adventures) Character Sheet 2.1
Another of my old sheets I've dug up. Here's one of my AD&D sheets, version 2.1, this one tuned for Oriental Adventures (1st Edition). I believe this was the first version I did in PageMaker. At least when I made this one in 1991 I had somewhat regul...
