Mechanically I understand how this works. A PC "dies" then comes back and the exploit vanishes. My group was wondering thematically how this works if an NPC is intent on getting that coup de grace. Situation: I'm running a 1-shot for part of my player base for the holiday weekend. They are playing the judges from the back of the book, mostly so they can get a feel for and partly for us to...

I've had a game running for about three months (every other week with a few breaks). At the start one of my players rolled psychic powers for his mutation. We both were pretty excited to see how they would work in the system and continued on. After the first two sessions (one heavy RP, one heavier combat) I allowed my players to assess their first build and make tweaks now that we all had more...

This is probably the best thing to do. Especially because Overwatch is supposed to be a ranged thing. You could just say there is a melee variant to go along with Overwatch. Or just the straight DND delay action. Thanks for the question, I didn't know there wasn't a straight delay feature until now.

Thanks a million for the reply. I'll probably end up looking over a lot of the WOIN questions to get answers for any mechanics in the future.

Page 25 of the book under the Mutants race section, paragraph two says "They may leave once they reach adulthood (assuming they survive the harsh conditions) and choose live in the wastelands instead." Should probably read "They may leave once they reach adulthood (assuming they survive the harsh conditions) and choose lives in the wastelands instead." As for mutations that add attacks,...

As for mutations that add attacks, what is the proper thing to roll? I just had my player create a Mutation skill that we use situationally for things like Sonic Boom Girl. That would be an END ranged attack. Skill-wise, it's up to you as a GM, but mutations seems reasonable to me.

If it was form-fillable and usable on Fantasy Grounds my players would eat it right up. I don’t know how to do either of those things. Sorry!
