Game Details:
I am primarily an AD&D 2nd Edition DM/player. I'm currently seeking players who might be interested, but I'm only taking so many so as not to overwhelm myself with too large of a group. I do have a custom world that I've made, along with a huge selection of classes and races and a few guidelines that I follow on how my world and my campaign are run. I try to be fair on what I allow, but I also prefer the roleplay aspect of the game so I have been known to have players come up with a believable story behind their character in order to allow it (especially the rarer races/classes and/or if the race/class combo is unusual). I am preferring long-time players, but I do allow for temporary characters to be made in order to let people see if they might enjoy the adventure and wouldn't mind my DM style.

I've been an AD&D 1st Edition, D&D 3rd Edition, D&D 3.5, D&D 4th Edition, and a Shadowrun player in the past.

I have developed a Mega Man X-based tabletop game as well.

  • 05:19 AM - TBeholder quoted Citan Uzuki in post Multiple KITs
IIRC, no multiple kits. And it would be a mess. Last I remember, most multi-class characters can only take multi-class kits - which do exist!, though primarily in the racial handbooks. So if you can find a fighter/thief kit, they could take it, but off-hand I don't recall any such in the racial handbooks. I'd read this as "applicable to all classes" as is. Starting with the assumption that a kit is not specialisation "on top", but the path that mostly can be expressed with this or that class, but with some adjustments. Multiclass characters can only use multiclass kits. But in Demihumans of the Realms (and probably in mid-90s 2e in general) a multiclassed character may have one kit, which can be applied to one of the character's classes. "Regional" kits, yes. As opposed to "occupational". Or, probably nothing horrible will happen if you apply "obvious counterparts" to kits for different classes, too. :) This way, Swashbuckler, Barbarian, Explorer etc. can be considered more permissive th...

  • 11:36 AM - Morrus quoted Citan Uzuki in post File Upload Missing Again
Just checked. All the files are missing again from the files I uploaded, so I couldn't check about deleting the old ones, but I am at least able to re-upload without worry about having the old ones up now. So, I suppose it works properly now? In a round-about way. XD I completely didn't understand that! So it's all working now?

While I can upload files again, I cannot delete the old files from the listing (and therefore have only the latest version on the download page). Instead, when I upload the new one, both files show up in the download section. @.@ Can you double check? It's working perfectly for me. I just deleted some files from a listing with no issue.

  • 09:48 AM - Cleon quoted Citan Uzuki in post How much should my PCs get for a bounty on a dangerous bandit?
Indeed! Even normal items that are of excellent quality may cost 2-5 times as much as their normal variations, so those are potential ways to use gold. And living supplements do add up - new clothes, better packs, small strongholds to keep their wealth and keep it protected.. all of these do have a price. Even adventuring equipment that gets broken or has limited use may eat into those precious gold pieces - lantern oil, torches, rations, scrolls of protection, potions, etc. Rather than high-quality items I was thinking of high-price items like Spyglasses (1,000 gp), Medium Warhorses (225 gp), Fine Fur Cloaks (50 gp) or that old standby Silk Rope (10 gp per 50 ft.). Masterwork grade equipment isn't included in the core 2E AD&D Player's Handbook, so I didn't want to assume it was available.

Another method for gold to be used is in the research and creation of magical items. One usually cannot directly buy them (unless a merchant somehow has one for sale by chance - and if they do, they may likely know its worth), but one may be able to commission a wizard or priest to create them. This can cost a small fortune in gold, as well as typically a favor asked by the spellcaster. The better the item, the higher the price. This method is typically the one used in parting a party's gold from their purses. Of course, the third option is when a PC wants to start their own stronghold. It can cost potentially upwards of hundreds of thousands of gold pieces to do this, and hiring people certainly is not free! True enough, but both of those options usually only come into play when AD&D PCs are a lot closer to name level than the OP indicates, which said the three characters are all third level. In my experience, a party at that level is more likely to be spending its money on the more...

AD&D 2nd Edition Character Sheet - Basic Custom AND Spell Sheets!
This character sheet contains many basics and gives plenty of room for writing (in my opinion).
While it does not have the usual information where one would write undead turning, thieving skills, etc, it does have a rather large "Notes" section at th...

AD&D 2nd Edition Class - Monk
