    Druid Shepard. Gains proficiency in Sylvian at level 2. Not reflected in languages as part of subclass. Fixed Have been lurking. Started a Celestial Warlock with B5. Spellcasting: Patron specific spells do not show in available spell lists. Thanks to wrightc214 & Conandar for shouldering the load during this dour time. Fixed. Also removed Destructive Wave and Magic Weapon from the Hexblade spell list because I couldn't find a source indicating they were hexblade spells. If someone has one, send it to me.

    It sounds like the blue is better for more people. Is my conditional formatting suggestion even possible in excel? I defer to the masters. By the way, I am back to updating the Instructions for Use. Please review and leave any comments/criticisms on that thread. I am looking for someone familiar with the workings of the Adventurers Log to assist with the content for this page. Also, if anyone has any DYO or custom page snip-its that I can include as examples, they will be credited or not at authors discretion. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and I think a few good examples of these tools will help others to make even more use of this great tool. As always, much appreciation and awe to FA for all your work. What if instead of just snip-its, there was a depository for sharing actual DYO sheets?

    Have had 'pseudodragon' in a wildshape slot since v2.16 without issue. Have 'Homunculus' in the first familiar slot with no overrides & 'Shield Guardian' in second slot, with multiple overrides all working normally. Maybe spelling??? This is not a Wildshape though. This is a pet or animal companion. I cannot wildshape a a paladin/fighter.

    Active & Ability Features not shown from Custom at selected levels: Show properly if loaded on Start Thanks Flwad, updated in next build. For the Ability Features section, these are related to advantage or disadvantage to ability checks (skills, saving throws etc.) and immunities. For all another abilities I recommend using the Active Feature section. For example the Heal 2+ spell level when cast heal spell would be in the Active Feature section as [Name: Heal ally for 2+spell level; Usage: Cast Heal; Duration: Instant; Recovery: Instant; Uses: Spell] or something like this.

    Imported 3 Characters from B7 to B8. Two issues: 1. Still having the Custom problems previously mentioned with heavy armor proficiency. The first attachment is the entry on custom for the Subclass. The second is the Start entry for armor showing non-proficient heavy armor. The third is the CSI apparent mis-match. The fourth through sixth are the same shots for Shield(s) proficiency under Favored Soul after I entered it on Custom. Your example missed this by-the-way. 2. All the animal entries (Familiar/Mount/Wildshape) appear corrupted on Start, CSII and Wildshape. I found a bogus '#N/A' entry in the SIZE override which appears to effect HP, HD, AC, SIZE, SENSES & ACTIONS. Appears to correct all when the entry in Size override is removed. Took me a moment to realize all the #N/A entries on Start, etc. upon initial import were caused by lack of import on custom. All corrected when custom import completed. Thanks for your efforts.     1. Missed the separate import for custom, will include in the IFU, but maybe you could put a subtitle on the Start Import indicating the separate custom. 2. I manually entered "1" in the dropdown for the level and selected 'Heavy'. Still shows not-proficient on Start & CSI when heavy armor selected. Second column was a reference to the location on 'Custom'. Missed the 'SubClass 2' label. Ok cool, try beta 8 as I couldn't replicate the issue with armor not showing when using a subclass. :)

    1. In converting my druid from Beta 6 to Beta 7, I lost the one custom spell I had entered in the second slot. I think it reset to the spell in the sample. 2. Entering Custom subclass, tried to enter Heavy armor for a cleric sub-class. No change in Proficiency shown in armor on Start or on CSI. Entered in second column of Sub-class. otherwise good. 1. Currently the Import on Start will only import the character (excluding the character sheet). Import on the Custom sheet will only import the custom sheet data. Is it preferred to Import everything when clicking the Start sheet Import including the Custom sheet data? 2. For the subclass, you would need to select the level the subclass gains the feature, usually tagged to a feature level gain. (for some reason the dropdown list for the level no longer shows the level gains of features, fixed in next build). Not sure what you meant by second column by the way.

    First, thank you for doing your due diligence. Because of the effort, I will try to answer your questions. Second, the FAQ is my take on the responses FA has given since I started reading this on page 30-something (currently 231). A request was made a little while ago for 'the community' to help FA out by generating a FAQ because the same questions kept getting asked. FA has given his tacit approval for my efforts by creating the link on his home page, but he has never been directly involved in the FAQ data. And now to the actual question. FA has always has three rules he has observed throughout. I will address them one at a time. No Macros. This is to allow use of the sheet over as many platforms as possible. Macros would make it much easier to code, but would limit the users to Excel. FA has repeated resisted the use of macros except for the Transfer Tool/ Import and the Reset as these can be worked around on other platforms.     Some Animals do not have actions evident. (Homunculus) Selection drop-down non-operable on (2)Mount Override Armor. 2nd feat: ability score improvement does not show in Feats & Level Gains in Section 1 of Start. Otherwise, good after rebuild 1st - There are many creatures currently not having their attack or traits stats entered in at the moment. This is a bit manual to type this detail in unfortunately, there is a lot of information to be typed so it take a lot of time. I could use a hand with that if anyone is up for it. PM me if you'd like to help out with this. 2nd - Found the issue and fixed in the next build. Was a strange issue, the formatting went out of whack for some reason.

    Did my usual rebuild. Small issues: resistance override: typed in override box does not show on Start or CSI. Familiar animal overrride does not show on CSII Have pseudodragon/faerie dragon/wyvern added to shapechage ability by Item. Pseudodragon works properly for all stats when typed into original Wildshape name Wildshape: name does not overrride, All other overrides work Available forms do not correspond to proper forms, restrictions agianst swim/fly not evident. CRs do not seem to align. Kudos: active & ability features seem to be good, actions area seems to respond as expected. Thanks for the great feedback, see below for my comments Character resistance override works for me, what is the scenario for your issue so I can look into it Corrected the animal override, wild shape name and the CR, limitations in the next build will add additional creatures for shape changers etc to the list in the next build. If you have any other, let me know.

Oh, I see. OK, I've moved it to the correct place. Seems some of the settings got reset in the backup and all new uploads were posting in the CC forum. As an aside, though, would it not make more sense to put the instructions PDF in the same download entry as the actual character sheet? You can add multiple files to one download entry.

    ...ailable CR' Second level: Circle of Moon: Proper forms available in wildshape, but still wrong list for other circles. No blank entry in conditions drop-down for reset. Encumbered does not effect movement. Much Easier to copy Possessions in Bag of Holding (Copy of CSII) after copying CSII in new Character sheet. Level 5 Gained Magic Item which gave me Spells not in Druid Spells - Typed them in to Last slots in Correct Levels, marked Prepared and added Number of Additional Prepared spells - worked well. Also gives me +1 on spell save dc & spell attacks - added adjustment - works well lastly gives me + to all ST Added on Start in Adjustment - worked well. 10th level: Elemental Wild Shape should show up in active features or ability features. 14th level: 1000 forms should show up in active features or ability features. Gained Homunculus : DM Treats as Familiar: Filled in Overrides: Shows up in Mount on Start or CSII Awakened Mount does not show Overrides. Hi flwad, great feedback i'll look into them. For now I've fixed the companion / mount / familiar issues and the option for clearing the conditions

    ...me. I see their point. My suggestion at a improvement would be at least a notation on Start, that the armor and shield must be added in CSII for weight calculation accuracy. A possible way of addressing it would be to auto-populate CSII with the shield and possibly two sets of armor from Start with a check box next to them to indicate if worn/used. Just a suggestion, as you're much better at dealing with the details than I am. Third and most annoying to my group is the auto-populate drop-downs on CSII. They want to be able to type in the cells without the selection struggles/delays caused by the drop-downs. I have struggled with this myself, but I have come to like the drop-downs, but I don't think they will come around. Again, just a suggestion to add a check box at the top of CSII which disables the auto-populate. As always, please take all my comments as an attempt to improve the final iteration and not a suggestion that your effort is ever taken for granted or unappreciated. Hi flwad! 1st - Awesome that your group is enjoying using the tool 2nd - small workaround, in CSII you can type =ArmorName in the first row, =ShieldName in the second row and for weapons use =Attack1name, =Attack2name etc. You can use the same methodology for the Equipment Worn section of the Start sheet. I'm thinking in version 2.00 to move the entire equipment section editing to the Start sheet where it is possible to do some cooler stuff with automation as well has have a universal named variable for custom designed equipment sheets - this however take a heap of work so won't be anytime soon :) 3rd You can type away, any free text can be entered and if the item is listed it will be recognised and populated with correct rarity and weight. No need to use the drop downs if you know the item exists in the PH or DMG (any there are some custom items as well that don't appear in either). It would be fantastic if Excel support autocomplete for dropdowns but it doesn't (at least without writing a ma...
