Maka looks around, seeing that Taylar has arrived near Keep #7, "This is more than flight; it looks more like a gateway. But instead of traveling through normal terrain, one is walking through the air itself... Is that even possible? I mean... it certainly appears to be, but I am not sure if I am correctly understanding what I have seen. A few weeks ago, we all began to realize that our talents...

Harb took his standard place a bit ahead the front. He moved silently and kept his eyes peeled for danger. Perhaps it was his distance from the group's combined smells which saved him from the worst of the mosquito swarms.

Although, I wonder how Aygury would interact with the deck if we asked about the results in a specific fashion. I.e. "Would it be a good idea for character X to draw y cards from the deck?"

By the way, guys, Narayan has created a chat channel on the LINE Chat app, entitled: Dark Days In Sion. If you want to join, you are welcome to, and its a faster way to communicate OOC / Game Mechanics information / Questions to the DM, as compared to the slower-paced OOC Forum. Besides Narayan, there are 3 of us there already; myself, Aust, and RedRaider. We look forward to the rest of you...

On a side note, Mord is skilled at deception rather than Persuasion. He's got an untrained +4, but can't exactly get away with casting guidance during the course of negotiations. Maybe once, before stepping out of the carriage to help bolster the first impressions.

"Exellent! In that case, let's hammer out the details over a spot of wine shall we?" I'm thinking the son to a lower, (this obscure), but wealthy enough waterdeep family who owns a small merchant fleet and is looking for an advantage to help them expand their business. That should be enough of a potential feather in the cap to anyone trying to market a new product. Someone will need to...

The noble smiled arrogantly as he replied to the wizard, Mord was obviously practicing his part. "Of course, I'll have to arrive in style, with my own entourage, guards and such. I assume you would have the ability to provide such transportation here? I'll also need to leave my actual guards here, they are a bit too 'dim' to play the part."

1, we'll figure that out. 2. Never attempt to enforce reality onto a fantasy setting. Besides, these are Waterdhavien coins. Worth more than their value due to the influence of the city.

Grody shrank back from that red hot glare and disappeared back behind the chair. He wondered if anyone had understood what he'd said. But he wasn't likely to find out at just this moment.

Mord studied Andruss for a moment and then smiled and his form shimmered and changed, seeming to dissolve into another form entirely. Now a Waterdeep noble sat in his place. His voice was deep and aristocratic, it even seemed more normal than Mord's voice normally sounded. "I've heard so much about the wonders of your copper plating. I told my father that we simply MUST outfit our entire...

Vandrok watches the newcomers silently, all the while thinking about what the Dragon Shaman had told him. Vandrok whispers, to no one in particular: Wrenwil...Which one of them is Wrenwil? He surmised that perhaps the old, balding, leathery-looking man was Wrenwil, but he had to be certain! He had to. Vandrok could feel the panic once again welling up inside of him. It was not a panic...

Well sure, but if we get into a shooting battle it'll be good to have options. And Harb will be pretty fair with a bow.

Harb took the opportunity to better arm himself. Claiming a shortbow, 60 arrows, and on a whim, a short sword. Which he gave a little flourish before hanging the sheath over his shoulder with the bow.

Harb was designed as a skulker/assassin and never meant to rock ranged weapons. He could use a light crossbow or a short bow. Chrysagon may have it even worse?

"The less men we have the faster we can move and less likely to be discovered. I agree with this statement in all but the case of Qawasha. He will be more likely to do the opposite for our expedition. That said, we may need to ensure that our supplies are sufficient for the mission, to include weapons to help us deal with flying adversaries." Harb emphasized this statement by showing off...

"As low as you are on supplies, it may be prudent to take some with us anyways. This sounds to be a hazardous journey and who knows what we may find at our destination." Harb glanced around the camp as he spoke, his eyes seeking out the true state of the situation.

Also, it wouldn't do to go away empty handed after Mord's little show. It might just have a reverse effect.

As the wizard turned his back, Mord spoke quietly in response to Kalorn's suggestion. "Imami will not intervene in this matter. We will be expected to handle whatever comes our way. At best we may occasionally pick his brain for clues on how to proceed with some matters. Besides, we may need to acquire some additional supplies before we reach our true destination." Then he dismounted,...

In that case, Mord would keep his. That said, I do doubt that Imami would be interested in handling said side mission and would probably tell us to handle it.

Did Imami give us a speaking stone again? Or do we still have some? (Mord would keep his if allowed, but I figured Imami would want them back after the previous adventure.)

Mord studied the wizard for a long moment then smiled approvingly. This was a man after his own heart. "Assuming that said mission was reimbursed in more than mere information, I'm sure that we could come to an arrangement. Perhaps we could speak in a more private venue?"

Dandin watched the goblin slide off of his rapier leaving the bloodied blade to gleam eerily in the light of the nearby fire. He started at the blade for a good long moment, entranced by the flickering light show. Then he heard the voices coming down the farther hallway and he snapped back to reality. Looking back to the hall at his back he considered it and glanced to the people nearby. "We...

You know, I bet Kalorn could ask the ship's captain about taking the kid on. He probably won't be safe if left here.
