    Great question. It looks like it is v1.2 compatible. I'm the GM but not the game creator (for my Roll20 campaign), so can't tell where / how we accessed the sheets. knikpiw may know, if I can figure out how to ping him.

    Great session last Saturday for the NEW West Marches game. It was a lot of fun providing a mission for the team. This one involved primarily operations around getting a team of scientists to a planet-side xenoarchealogy site within parameters (no direct landings, undeveloped planet, jungle, etc). It also involved some exploration and medical crisis. Really fun time - I'm definitely enjoying GMing for the Players, and learning quite a bit about NEW, West Marches style, Roll20 and Discord alike.I hope to get into a game this weekend. Spouse and kids will be out of town and I'll have a nice, quiet house to myself.

    Itís exciting to see this form up. Iím going to look to put up a starter map - essentially blank, and maybe some rumor, orgs and such. PCs should be default NOW characters, grade 5. Iíd like to allow in the standard NOW races, plus looking to allow in the additional ones from EONS. I'm curious what your plan is for the players getting around in space. Are starships going to be available for free (or on lease, or something) to groups of starting players? That was one of the reasons I had suggested a one-system exploration area, the ships required to shuttle around are a lot cheaper, and won't require many specialized skills to use. They'd also be less capable of long-duration support for an exploration team, which leads me in to my next question. Are there going to be civilized worlds in the area we're exploring? A big part of the West Marches setting is that outside the one town, the rest of the area is wilderness with no civilization. Some character concepts and careers may not make ...

    I like this - works just fine for me, and I'm naturally assuming that I'll be (co)GMing, since that's what I do. ;)Having just caught up on The Expanse television series, a station at the edge of a gate wouldn't be too great a stretch for this type of campaign.

    Sunday evenings about 6 pm Pacific (GMT -8, I believe) works for me and a couple of us. I have to coordinate with my Delta Green Game, but I expect a couple openings a month ... including this coming Sunday (Sept 2). We could do some campaign planning and / or some quick roleplay for those able to make it. Iím not familiar with ďWest MarchesĒ as a setting, but a player driven sandbox sounds fun. I have an Obsidian Portal account, and could match the Roll20 platform with a campaign wiki / website. Folks could see all the PCs and revealed NPCs, Blue book / PMeM, etc. it might also help create a little more WOIN buzz as well.I'm reading up on the West Marches campaign style. It might be an interesting experiment for a N.E.W. Game. I'll post my notes here shortly.

    It's definitely a fun read. I like the way the Venetians worked out. I was expecting an elf and/or Vulcan sort of clone, and was glad they're not really either. Definitely like the inclusion of Venetian martial arts and stances (the tilts), especially with my copy of NOW having arrived a few days prior. I'll want to see some Felan martial arts now (to make your job tougher).Sorry, no Felan martial arts. Their's is a game of cunning subterfuge and manipulative social one-upmanship. I've been playing with some new social mechanics. I hope they work out because they really define the Felans, in my mind.

    My Amazon copy arrived today - just flipped through, and so far, very pleased. I liked the Moons of Boria, but Vendalyr resonates a bit more for me. Good stuff.Thank you. The Holds of Vendalyr was a great book to write. I'm proud of the finished work, though there were moments when I doubted any of it would make sense to anyone but me. It was definitely a learning experience. Glad you enjoy it. Now, if I could only get this Felan book to fall in line and make some sense.
