I use both but I find that customizing scripts and getting players to join can be easier in roll20. The more the merrier 😉 A helpful person built a functional char sheet too. I found a slight problem with FG going outside of what was supported (more new races from the guide etc). But I haven't found many players interested in WOIN on roll20 yet so FG may be the only way to play online atm

Heads up that if we post more roll20 games and become more active in the community by running/playing WOIN games and posting in the LFG forums we can get them added to the official list (which aids looking for group) https://twitter.com/roll20app/status/1114925270924976136

I'll be running a weekly game starting next Wednesday (a week from today) conditioned on finding a fun group by then. There are 4 spots available, details are on the listing https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/155816/woin-new-the-fall-of-somerset-landing

We did! I'll summarize here for future visitors (I posted here earlier than figured you may see my mention on Twitter) In Morrus' homegame he allows rolls less than average (3.5 per die round total down? To nearest) to be average instead so no poor rolls can create a very challenged character - unless that's what the player is looking for. This could he codified in an update for future...

Just rolled health 2 End dice, 3 will dice and 1 Hardy, total 18 which is greater than 10. Also rolled psionic pool 6d6 for 12points. Right now I'm hoping the character meets an untimely fate so I can reroll is this intended, or is there a moderate pool generation system for health and psionic points?

Groovy, 2 nights a week is a good amount. I haven't played in person in a few years, maybe 15 years since I played with an person group regularly. It's tough to find times when everyone is available.

Howdy knikpiw thanks for the heads up, I'm on Eastern time and unfortunately I'm usually still working during that slot. If you do any weekend times around then I'd definitely be interested. Also I discovered the FantasyGrounds NEW + WOIN support + modules. Checking those out now as maybe I can run an intro game there.

You are missing out. It's actually a bunch of fun and a great way to reach out to a bunch of players (with modules, built in rules, npcs/monsters) etc.

A friend and I have been looking for WOIN games without much luck. I posted in LFG to gauge interest and potentially run a game and got 2 partial interest responses conditioned on timezone and availability.

It's tough to find times when everyone is available. Yeah, scheduling is tough. We're lucky that it's a long term group and it's been the same night every week for years.

You are missing out. It's actually a bunch of fun and a great way to reach out to a bunch of players (with modules, built in rules, npcs/monsters) etc. I’m sure it is! I have a great home game on Thursday nights and a local club on Wednesday nights. Another evening a week would be difficult! :)
