Chief Inspectress of the RHC, Arch Secula of Chrysillir ... Mad Shootist ... mother of a Fey Titan Scion (mated with Father of Thunder). This... is a very particular combination of personality traits.

Gerard Pentecost, King of Risur. (Male Aasimar, 17 Hunter/3 Urban Empath, Spirit Medium) Note: In my game, Aasimar are the mortal offspring of Devas. Marian Stillwater, Chief Inspectress of the RHC, Arch Secula of Chrysillir. (Female Human, 17 Investigator (Steel Hound), 2 Mad Shootist, 1 Inquisitor of Triegenes, Gunsmith). Bearer of the Humble Hook, mother of a Fey Titan Scion (mated with Father of Thunder). Thal Kordud, Founder and High Priest of the Church of Amielle Latimer. (Male Dwarf, 20 Gunslinger (Musket Master), Eschatologist). Founded a religion based on self-sufficiency and survival, with an emphasis on firearms use. Xelari Devontes, Champion of Srasama and The Eladrin People. Bearer of the Blades of Srasama. (Male Eladrin, 20 Paladin, Vekeshi Mystic). The party's moral compass and restorer of all female Eladrins who died during the Great Malice. That is a hell of a cast. I rather dig the Church of Amielle Latimer. :) Fellow Texans, I see. Awesome, man. Good job sticking it through to the end! I'm sure you and your gaming group have some great memories from an amazing campaign. Just curious, how long did it take from beginning to end?Something like 3-1/2 years, give or take, with mostly weekly sessions of 3-1/2 hours each. Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk

I'm having to modify Pemberton's role during the convocation as well, but for a different reason - my players sided with Pemberton instead of Ber during Adventure 6. They provided intel on Beran forces, sank Beran ships, and stranded Beran forces on the Isla de Focas in exchange for Tinker Oddcog unharmed, and a vague promise of cooperation against the Ob at a later time. Woah! That's pretty ruthless. Didn't much care for the Berans, huh? My guys liked Glaucia, Melissa and Corta Nariz de Guerra too much to side with Pemberton. Also one of them hates Pemberton (which I was surprised to discover). Your outcome must have a pretty huge impact on international relations, right? Risuri forces side with dragon tyrant harboured by Risur! And a fairly big impact on epic tier, when it comes to gaining allies around the world.

  • 05:50 AM - innerdude quoted kcannell in post What's your favourite D&D setting of all time?
I know you know this, but in the interest of the brand name article I just read, I feel obligated to point out the following: Golarion is a Pathfinder setting! No, it isn't -- the original Pathfinder Campaign Setting hardcover (which I own) was originally written for 3.5. Only later, after the actual Pathfinder RPG was released, did they update it to the Pathfinder-compatible Inner Sea World Guide.

I know you know this, but in the interest of the brand name article I just read, I feel obligated to point out the following: Golarion is a Pathfinder setting! PAIZO was creating D&D modules for it ..albeit SRD...before Pathfinder. Maybe that is the reasoning? That said, not something I would consider official either. If that was the case, you would have to take into account everything ever introduced via a crappy old D20 glut module.
  • 04:45 PM - Morrus quoted kcannell in post How Important is the D&D Brand?
Pathfinder was outselling D&D before D&D Next was ever announced, and 4th Edition was in full swing. Yup; Pathfinder first grabbed the icV2 top spot in q3 2011, a full quarter before D&D Next was announced; and has held it since then.
