I actually saw you start your game, and regretted missing the window at the time.

I really appreciate being asked... But realistically it'd be close to a week before I can even make a character. Judging is.... there is a lot of email/issues to address (sorta my fault but...).

Yesterday I almost pm'd you to ask if you were reopening; but then I sat back and looked at the list of things to do....

Graf, since you were complaining about games dying and such, and i'm re-recruiting two players (ideally, but not necessarily, a leader and a controller), I thought to ask if you're interested. It's not a game as original and well-thought as yours, but with players' help it might get interesting. All the info in the first post here and here. Feel free to ruthlessly tell me no if you're too busy

For some reason the fact that it's real makes it even creepier/more interesting to me. I'm thinking about something involving him now though I'm not sure I have the time to run it...

I see. Seems like a lost quite a bit of discussion. So what do you suggest? It'd be easy to move the "old gods" to another section and then let the others handle the more dndesque gods of Allaria. No?
Also, since it tickled your curiosity, i'll admit that only little is original in the Zagreus entry, as it really is a name of Dyonisus in Orphic traditions and crazy rites are indeed reported to have been officed in mysteric cults...

EDIT: in the end i moved what I had written in a "Old gods" entry and left the "Gods of allaria" empty. Hope that works.

Just wanted to give you a heads up that some folks have been talking about iterating the Imperium versions of the gods in a more "generic DnD" direction.

So the Imperium would use your version, with the more direct inspiration and then they're'd be a Allarian version that is more DnDish. (I guess... I'm not really in the same mental space.... they mostly seemt to be feeling like the names aren't "DnD enough" which baffles me slightly but...)

So the "old gods of Allaria" section was supposed to just be a genericified DnD set of gods (I called it "old gods" in an attempt to get something flavorful out, but I'm not really involved, either Gary or Cov are going to take point on the project -- I think).

Shouldn't effect us directly, and I'm still using the "proper" names in TI.

The positive effect is that we can have different people who ostensibly worship the same god but see him/her differently. Which has neat roleplaying implications...
(or at least it will if the generic verisons turn out interesting).

Thank you Graf. I did write a bit on the "ancient gods", i'll write more later. Also added a line about "That Which is Far" (the far realms...?) I'm willing to write more about the main pantheon too...
But, really, let me know if you have any ideas on how to improve it all, i admire your creativity ^^
