Sorry, just standard point buy out of the PHB. It's called Method 2: Customizing Scores. Or Method 1 if you prefer. I think the table that accompanies Method 2 makes it pretty easy though.

Hey, maybe I'm blind but I can't seem to find mention of what method to use for Ability generation.

I sent you an e-mail with my idea. I know that you said that you don't check that address much, but in case you wanted to use one of my ideas in particular I didn't want to post too publicly.

So I went through the setting information as well as getting caught-up with the story, and I have an idea for a character. I know that you said it'd be a while 'til any character of mine could possibly get introduced, but while it's fresh in my head I wanted to run it by you.

As the concept interacts pretty directly with the plot you've started I was thinking maybe it should get discussed away from the boards, but it's up to you. Feel free to e-mail me (v-card's in my profile).
