Hey there, my name's Luke. I'm 19 years old, with alot of experience in play by post roleplaying and a fair share of Pen and Paper rp as well. I currently run a play by post rpg online, and "assist DM" a DnD group, helping my DM as needed (he has... focus problems shall we say lol) and am looking to start up my own group or join one.
I have a tendency to be a bit of a heavy optimizer, but the truth is, my current campaign isn't very satisfying. Sure there's plenty of bashing and such, but I enjoy a deeper roleplay experience, where the characters get a real opportunity to experience their adventuring lives, and become involved in one another, whether that means close friendships and possible romance or dark plotting to stab eachother in the back, I want a roleplay experience thats more real and alive.
I'm willing and capable of DMing if such is needed, in the three years I've been playing I've become a very avid reader of DnD supplements and have operated a few sessions with more success than any of the DM's I've played under. (Ah the curse of playing at a highschool club lol.) Infact, I'm currently DMing a small msn messenger campaign, and so far its going well (though the complexity of the system means its best kept to a minimum of players.)
So basically, I'm here to make contacts, aquire friends among the gaming community, and hopefully find a deep roleplaying campaign. But, as I said, I'm open to the idea of starting a new group, and if anybody happens to go to the school in which my club is but somehow hasn't found out about it (or is homeschooled in the area and would like to join us) then your more than welcome to contact me regarding that as well.

- The table game I play is a group of highschoolers (myself being the only notable exception, as a former student of the school with permission from the club's advisor), at Graham Kapowsin High. Its a combat heavy campaign format, with a DM who's still learning the ropes but tries to be fair. Virtually all published WoTC material is allowed, though third party material can be submitted (if rarely accepted. Speaking of which, wish me luck lol, I'm about to turn in some ideas from Quintessential Monk.)
The campaign I run online, is open to one other player, preferably an arcane caster. I'm still learning how to run an online campaign (and its done through MSN messenger and an unnofficial add-on that includes a dice roller) but my players enjoy it. Its heavy on the roleplay, but there's plenty of action and alot of suspense. The current PC's consist of a Monk, a Favored Soul, and a likely soon joining Ambusher (as of present its uncertain whether they intend to be a rogue, a ninja, or s - Currently Playing
