Hi, the others will find your character in the Hall of the Dwarven Lord game soon.

Like I said, I would still submit a character for your game but I seem to be stuck on the Mystic Knight thing. It wouldn't seem right for me to submit another melee type, when it seems to clear to me that a Mystic Knight would be all over this region, trying to keep knowledge from dying.

Oh, one more thing...... this is pure flavor. It wouldn't hurt my feelings to see the Mystic Knight get more skill points. Heck, even require that so many skill points stay in knowledge skills. I would think that anyone who values knowledge so much....... would strive to know exactly what they were talking about.

All in all, it's your class. I'm not about to tell you how to make it. I will follow your thread, even if I don't play in it. I wish you all the best friend.

The d8 hit die isn't a big deal, but having an AC of 12 (or 13, with the Luck of Heroes feat you mentioned) means you will last approximately 1 to 2 attacks before you are KO'd. Three to four before you are dead. Even that wouldnt' be that big of a deal, if you were meaning for it to be a "rogue" type class.

I know, wizards and sorcs have a d4, with no armor...... but they are not meant to fight hand to hand. Rangers get armor..... and low level monks...... at least get their wis mod. You could possibly fix it that way, if you wanted. It's not my class, so I'm not about to say "do this or your class is broken." Especially when I don't think the class is broke. Like I said, I'd LOVE to play in your game. I'd love to play the Mystic Knight. I just..... hate thinking that I will spend time making the character (and probably fall in love with the guy) to have him die in the first couple of combats.

    Hello,

It's not that I don't want to play your game, or hate your Mystic Knight class. Far from it. I love the concepts behind both of them. I do want to be in your game, but I can't seem to find a class that is acceptable to my senses without stepping on any previously submitted characters. I would play a duskblade or even a spellthief, but I can't bring myself to play a "martial" character when your Mystic Knight is staring at me; begging to be played lol.

It seems like it was meant to be a primary melee character that dabbles in arcane magic and debuffs. It is my personal opinion (and could very easily be wrong, as I have been known to be before ), that the class is underpowered as a melee character. Yes, at higher levels it catches up but it would be surviving the lower levels that could prove difficult.
