Voadam Hi, I just saw this message, I wasn't aware of the feature before. Thanks for the compliments the bestiary was some of the most fun stuff gaming stuff I wrote. Castigoran, Halperthia et al were not from an actual game or world but were inspired by Ars Magica themes woven into a D&D setting. The wizard's covenant, master and apprentice relationships within a collegial wizard center, lots of magical research, the threat of infernal corruption, etc. Side by side with normal D&D fantasy elements such as the rust monsters, magical equipment for wizards' soldiers, duergar vs. dwarf conflict etc. I saw Castigoran as a powerful good wizard who knew he was outgunned by corrupted summoner and though he got away he lost Halperthia and his place among the wizard society and was on the run. The banderlatch I conceived of as non-tanari demons, similar to how Mongoose's Slayer's Guide to Demons had multiple families of demons with non tanari traits.

I'm planning a few sessions around the Banderlatch. I love the Cantrip Spirit (Have always had something similar since 1st ed). I love the story around the contstrictors. Anything more about Castigoran or his world. I want to import the story into my setting(s) central city.
