It utilizes a simplified resolution system, player-created Fates, and innovative Trust mechanics that gives relying on others both a tangible benefit
and risk.

The Mountain Witch includes monsters like Yukki-Onna, the Witch's winter ghost mistress, and Tokutaro-San, an enchanted doll that looks like a normal boy, but looking closer is revealed to made of cloth. There is also a sleeping giant who awakens to defend the Witch's fortress, giant spiders that appear like piles of dirty clothes when curled up, and more.
