Can I ignore people?

Just wondering of the boards support any kind of "message suppression" feature. Can I set up a kill-list that will prevent me from seeing posts from specific users?

Yes, you can. I already have one person on ignore. (Who? It'd be rude to say who, so I won't.)

See, up near the top right, "user cp" button? Click on that. Then you'll see "Edit Ignore List." Click on that. Then you can put in their user name, update the list, and BOOM, you're done.

Just so you know, once they're on ignore, you can't see what they said, even if you click on the "This person is on your ignore list, click here to read their message" link. (Or maybe my "anti-ads" software is just blocking the link?)

[Edit: Yeah, it's probably your anti-ad software suppressing it. It comes up as a pop-up window for me, and a lot of those programs kill all pop-ups. You can usually shift-click (or something) on a link to force the pop-up to work.]

If your using Pop-Up Stopper then it's CTRL-click.

I use Ad-Subtract Pro, and I am not too worried about seeing this person's posts. They annoyed me, and most of the time, he gets quoted (which kind of defeats the purpose of ignoring

).
