I want to see MORE ads!

Morrus, this may be a weird question, but is there any sort of page where someone can go to browse through the current ads? Sometimes I click on a link, and just as the page updates, I notice the ad across the top of the page I'm reading, and I think, "I'd really like to read that." But the page updates and it's gone, and I end up flipping back and forth for a long time before it comes up again. Also, sometimes I click on an ad, am somewhat interested, and later realize I forgot to record the link...so I'm stuck flipping randomly through the site hoping it will crop up again.

Any advice on how to see the ads without unnecessarily increasing the server load??? Any chance of a new page dedicated to "Our Current Advertisers?"

Hmm... On the d20reviews main page is a link to "advertising" but it seems to be broken...

I think there was something else as well...?

It would be a very good idea!

Sometimes I see a banner that attracts my attention but when the page reloads, the banner changes, so if I didn't click it I cannot do it then. I'd like being able to ffind all the advertisement in one page instead of having to reload the page until the random banner is that what I search

I'm sure advertisers would love that feature too.

And I though people hated ads!

Good idea, though. I'll see what I can do. Might be a few days, though.

People hate ads when they interfere with normal browsing.

But ads are useful, and when a well done banner catch my attention, I want to know more about the product

Horacio's got it.

First of all, these are targeted ads - unlike the usual ones you'd see on a website, they're at least for products that I might be interested in. So that's a plus to me right there. I can't honestly say that I've seen an ad for a product I don't already know about, but I keep up with what's coming out rather rabidly.

Second, they're not pop-ups. Talk about interfering with normal browsing...yuck. That would turn me off completely. Banners OK, pop-ups bad.

Now, there are banners out there that manage to interfere with normal browsing. I've seen a few of them pop up on my Opera window: they flash or shimmy or do other annoying things, making it extraordinarily difficult to concentrate on the page. Fortunately, ENworld doesn't seem to have any of those - and I hope that you'd be nice enough to ask anyone that tries it to redo their ad.

Now, as soon as I get a permanent job, I'll see about this community sponsor thing...
