maybe it's a noobiequestion, but how can i search the threads???
i can't find any button for searching
and when i tried the direct searchlink from another forum
it said '...you do not have permission to access this page...'
but how do i gain permission to search?
does it require a minimum number of posts i have to post before?

You need to be a community supporter to have the search option. You can either purchase a full blown community supporter account or just the search option. You can find info under the 'Support the Site' link at the top of the page.

Also, if you have specific search terms, you can here in the Meta forum and one of the community supporters will usually perform the search for you. That way, you don't have to pay until you've been here long enough to truly appreciate what a great place this is and how worthy it is of your support.

You can always use Google's advanced search to search EN World.

http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en

Search through the domain www.enworld.org

There is also a way to do it from Goggle, placing ENworld as part of the search string, insturctions are around here somewhere.

Is it just me or should we stop telling the secrets to non-CSers? What's to make them pay now if they know they can search for free?
