pictures too big at EN World Store

The pictures are too big at EN World Store on some items. Here's an example that is linked on the front page:

http://enworld.rpgshop.com/product_i...ducts_id=37698

The majority of the descriptive text is obliterated by the picture. I've noticed it on other items, but this is the first report I've made of it.

I guess this will truly test the age old adage that a picture is worth a thousand words

Aargh! Here's another one:

http://enworld.rpgshop.com/product_i...ucts_id=37757&

Is there something to be done? Has this been reported? It makes it a little difficult to shop the site when the text is obliterated by the pictures. I like the big pictures, but I want to read about the products, too.

Are you using Internet Explorer? I just checked with FireFox and the page renders with no issue. Checked with IE and I see what you mean, the text is all crunched up to the left side of the picture. Looks like it may be an IE rendering bug.... But in the end you are right, web pages should display legibly in all browsers despite how much of a pain that can be for web developers across the Internet.

Not just with IE, Banestorm is too large even with Avant.

Avant uses IE's rendering engine I believe. So if IE is rendering things incorrectly there is a really good chance Avant will also.

To me, the first pic isn't big at all. It's only like 3-4 inches by a number a little greater than that. And there's only a couple of lines of text, so it doesn't make much difference.

As to the second one, yeah, I see what you mean because that's WAY too huge. It makes reading it annoying.

[And if it matters, I AM using Firefox, the newest version].

Regardless, issues with the rpgshop are not handled by the staff of these boards, but by the specific staff there.

The customer service staff link is custserv@rpgshop.com
