Searching for short words/terms

Is there a way of doing a search for short words/terms in the Search function? For instance, I tried to do a search for "4e 4E 4th" (just in titles) and got nothing because the terms were too short. Is there someway of performing a search of *subject titles* with short words/terms? Can the filter be overridden for this?

If hit this problem before, so I'd like to find a workaround.

I think Micheal would have to change the parameters as of now 3 letters and less I beleive is not possible to search for

Note that "4e" and "4E" will find the same topics, and "4th" will also catch 4th edition shadowrun etc.

The ENWOrld Search can't go before 4 letters, unfortunately; it's a wall I've hit now and again, and the only other solution is to use other related words and hope for the best. (Or as Psionicist pointed, Google's you next best choice).
