Write a review for Heroes of Horror

so i told Ari i would write a review for Heroes of Horror once i'd finished pouring over the book. i'm basically done. just need to get my notes into an organized mess now.

i know this has been reviewed already.

so do i just add my review below the title? do i need to make a new account to do it?

it has been a couple years since i last wrote a review for this site. and i'm not the most technically savy user on this site... my 486/66 barely knows what to do to connect to the internet.

I am sickened beyond belief. The half-orc wizard is obviously the best possible PC, and I only had to read 10 pages of the book to figure it out. D&D is dead to me! -- Mike Mearls

goto the review part, goto the wizards section, then click on Heroes of Horror. There you will find a button that says "New Review"

how about maximum number of words (is 5000 too many)?

edit: last reviews i wrote got taken off the site. i don't want that repeated. that is why it has taken me this long to write a new one.

Did you like it? Well, actually, I'll wait for the review.

Personally, I really liked HoH and HoB both. I will prolly get a fair amount of use out of both of them over time as well.

It's exactly the same as posting a post on the messageboards. In fact, behind the scenes, that's exactly what you are doing - it uses the same system. So, yes, you need to be logged in, you can cut and paste (but beware of MS Word "smartquotes" which will screw your text up), style and font are just like the boards.

There's no max, but, as always with a post that long, make sure you save it as a file somewhere in case of a glitch - you don't want to hit "submit" and suddenly lose it.

i tried to figure out what it was like to be a beginner(someone who has never played), a novice(someone with a few years experience in this edition), and a veteran (someone having experience with multiple campaigns and editions) playing the new editions. all of these players i have experience gaming with currently.

what would it be like to pick this book up from their point of view.

personally, i'm not gonna use any of it.
