The reviews process

While I hope this doesn't become a continuation of the previous thread, I noticed something that could probably be addressed fairly easily from a site standpoint.

If a user starts from a product link, where no policy or guidelines for reviews are posted, and clicks the "New Review" button, they are taken to a screen to enter their review, just like a normal post on the site. No review guidelines are visible, nor are they quick to find, unless one goes to the review main page or the forums.

My suggestion: Add a link to the reviews.php into the reviews_newreview.php file, above the posting window, so that new reviewers have a better opportunity to see the guidelines for posting a review.

This whole situation might have been avoided if these new review posters knew what the policy was. While I heard ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law, it still helps (and can't hurt) to show people what the law is.

This would be an excellent addition to the thread Michael started in the General Forum about what technical stuff could be done to improve EN World in 2006.

I know MM cruises meta as well, but it would help to add it to the overeall thread so all the ideas are in one thread for him to refer to.
