Is there a way to purchase a community supporter account without using the evil paypal?

Unfortunately not, sorry. I'm in the UK, so US cheques are of no use to me. I'd go through RPGNow and use their cc facilities, but there are two problem with that (1) they'd take a third of the money and (2) I'd have to process the accounts manually, which works out to a lot more of a pain than it sounds!

I belive you can make a CC ayment through PayPal these days without having to maintain a balance with them, though, so it's fairly safe (you're covered by your CC's policies). And since PayPal was bough by eBay a couple of years ago, they've beccome much more respectable.

Morrus, if someone *coughIcough* sent you a money order or bank check in pounds or euros, would you be able to process that?

I've never used a money order, so I don't know. But Euros would be of no more use to me than dollars. I'll have to look it up and see what's involved.
