Avatars in odd places

I'm having an odd little problem that you fine folks might be able to help with.

We have two computers, our desktop, and the laptop we got at Christmas, I'm having this problem on the laptop only.

Sometimes the quote or reply buttons in a message will be the avatar of someone who has been posting in the thread. Today, the background with the circled 3 has been replaced by a background that is still black, but instead of the subtle grey threes I have Hypersmurf's avatar over and over.

It's kind of amusing, but I would like to know if anyone has any idea what might be causing this graphic snafus.

Probably a corrupted browser cache. Try emptying it and restarting.

I dunno. Piratecat was all condescending a while back 'cos my avatar wasn't animated like his.
