Hey, I can get to ENWORLD again!

Well, after about two months, I can finally get to ENWORLD again.

I've no idea what's been going on, but I couldn't even get a PING repsonse from my home address (and it was blocked at work).

I was getting subscription thread emails, but nothing I tried would let me go to the website.

I'm just posting this, more than any other reason, to let you know that such problems had occurred.

Duncan (reader of the various incarnations of this board since pre-3e release).

You've only had the problem two months?
http://enworld.org/showthread.php?t=179649

It seems like an inconsistent problem, though I didn't know it was still going on.

Is your ISP Optus?

Hooray! I wish we knew what was causing this, and I wish we had control over fixing it. I'm thrilled it's working correctly again.

I'm not with Optus, but certainly could use them along the way.

And I'm glad there is another thread or two about this, but it wasn't really possible for me to check the boards for threads about it when I couldn't get on.

Offhand, I didn't know Morrus' email address. Morrus@enworld.org didn't work :-)
I even looked for some emails I know I received form P-Cat a few years ago, but couldn't find them in my mail ;-)

Even as I write this, I can now ping ENWORLD, but Tracert says "destination protocol unreachable".

Thanks,

Duncan

Hooray I've read a post from Piratecat! :-)

For the last two month my only communication has been my subscription to Sagiro's story hour. And there hasn't been an update in that time *cry*

* Nope, no guilt, Sagiro - I understand that you are busy, and why you are busy, and that family comes before updates, but after 6 years of reading the story hour, I always want more :-)

Welcome back!

If you are into Story Hours, feel free to check out the two in my sig. One is completed, the other updates every 2 or 3 days. Comments welcome if you decide to read (and you don't have additional server problems!)

Again, welcome back to the boards. Hopefully things haven't changed to much! [Have they changed at all besides the renaming of the RG thread?]

He hasn't stopped it. But I'm one of his best friends, and I've seen him maybe once in these two months. He's insanely busy with Bioshock. I'm hoping to lure him to my game this Thursday, and I'm hoping that his crunch doesn't last for much longer. We all miss him!

The routing issues wouldn't be tied into the creation of CM.

The CM domain name expired. Here are the results of the whois lookup:

Code:
   Domain Name: circvsmaximvs.com

Created on..............: Thu, Mar 16, 2006
Expires on..............: Fri, Mar 16, 2007
Record last updated on..: Sun, Mar 18, 2007
