| I'm guessing the double negative is not intended to be there. I looked at the blog entry in question and it says the Swordsage is not easy to translate - this says it is easy to translate, though in a confusing and roundabout way. I'm assuming one of the "not"s should simply be excised.

Know the difference:
Jibe: To agree with ("That doesn't jibe with...")
Jive: Swing music, or deception.
Also, "criterion" is singular, "criteria" is plural. Not the other way around!
