STEALTH -Front Page no longer Stealthy?

My front page and all my forum views were in the Stealth format, now the forum pages are that way, but the main page is Black with red text? - Looks like the Default I am thinking -

?

Short of that, you're not really getting the MMO experience.

While I'm not anyone official here and thus don't know anything about the coding ...

Morrus had a post in another thread about forcing the default on certain things quoted from the WOTC website because the colored text that they used would have been invisible on some modes otherwise.

Considering that the front page has a lot of new WOTC content, I wouldn't be surprised at all if something like this is going on. But, this is only a very unofficial postulation!

EDIT:

I did a bit of research and found the post I was loking for. It is from the STICKIED thread at the top of the meta forum regarding bugs. Here you go, if you are interested: Morrus' Post

I just came to Meta to ask this very same question. I don't know what the front page has been set to at the moment, but reading it whilst using a Stealth skin isn't too good. The colours seem to be all over the place. If it is possible to change the colours to something else it would appreciated.

Thanks,

Olaf the Stout

Makes it a lot harder to have ENWorld open at work, but I will survive...

The front page is all but unreadable, as is. At this point, I've pointed my bookmark directly at the forums, just to avoid the color spray effect.

I also use the stealth skin and have to same problem.

edit: never mind, apparently that annoying blue background behind some of the news blurbs is just how it is laid out...really hard to read.

The "color spray" effect is caused by IE 6. Over the weekend I'll write some browser detect code to eliminate the problem by changing the stylesheet slightly to eliminate the problem. Until then if you want rid of the problem use a current and up to date browser like IE 7 or Firefox (I am aware that those of you at work cannot do this and it is for that reason I'm going to the trouble to fix the problem).

but what about stealth mode

But Admiral, I neeeed stealth mode white background with any color text. If I can't read it I'll highlight it. Smaller heading text and narrower sidebar columns would be nice too. I just have to have stealth for work.

I'm the Admiral, not Michael.

We're working on it. Should be good to go in the next couple of days. With luck.

I should change my avatar to Scotty just to make that clear - that I'm more like a chief engineer.

Thanks for the fix. The new front page looks sweet even in IE6 on my work computer.

There is kind of a Star Trek:TNG vibe on the new front page with those sweeping curves, so maybe you should be Jordy, rather than Scotty.
