Can everyone duplicate threads now?

Hello, Mods,

On the 4E board, we're told not to duplicate existing threads. And quite right too!

Along comes Kae'Yoss and essentially duplicates my thread & poll about warforged with his. Soi-disant, his will be more "conclusive" than mine but it looks amazingly like duplication to me. Imagine if everyone started duplicating 4E threads using the pretext that their thread was better. The 4E board would soon be overwhelmed.

Or am I missing something? Is it now OK to duplicate 4E threads as long as you come up with a feeble excuse?

What you're missing, dude, is that there's whole lot of traffic here. As a practical matter, the mods just can't read everything, so that occasional duplications will be missed.

If you see a redundant thread, please report it (click the little exclamation icon on the bottom of the first post), and we'll see if it merits a merging of the minds.

I didn't know about the reporting function. I went back and used it. Hopefully, the two threads will now be merged.
