Quoting oddity

The past couple of days I noticed something odd about quoting. It might have been here forever, but I just noticed it.

When you quote someone and attach there name, the quote is all in italics. However, if you just quote without the name attached, it's normal type. Is there a reason for this? Can it be tweaked?

It's not a major issue, but sometimes you want to quote someone by name and their message has key sections in italics which get lost in the quotes.

Yeah. You can only work around it manually (i.e., quote without name, then write the 'posted by' line at the top of the quote):

Mang, it's been like this since VB 3 was installed. You only noticed it now?
