Suggestions: NECRO category

I have a suggestion for a site feature:

I would really like it if necro'ed threads would automatically be assigned the category NECRO. This would save me and perhaps others a lot of confusion.

Thanks.

It'd also be nice if such threads had a warning if you try to reply to them. Not to prevent raising old threads--just to make sure you don't do so by mistake!

That feature isn't available through the basic functions, and would have to be hard-coded in. The real problem though, is: what counts as Thread Necromancy? Two days old? Two weeks? Two months? Two years? I'd definitely say "two years," but it gets a bit murkier when you get into the "weeks" category.

We appreciate the suggestion, though. Unfortunately, the best answer I have at the moment is "check the dates on a thread before posting."

If there's one dragon, it's a solo monster.
If there's five dragons, they're standard monsters.
If there's a dozen dragons, either most of them are minions or your DM is tired of the campaign.

If that happened it would make finding older threads you want a pain in the butt because they would all have the same tags on them. If this is really causing you confusion starting looking at post dates and get into that habit.

Don't look now but when we switch all the old threads are going to lose their category tags anyway as they are incompatible with the new system
