in the d20 Guide & Review FAQ, it is mentioned that some review, if they aren't sufficient, might be put as comment to the product.

But each comment section is tied to a particular review.

So would it be possible to make a comment section tied to the book and not someone review?

This would allow author to post expended comments on their product.

I imagine it's possible, but would require quite a bit of work. I'll add it to the list of "things to maybe do some time in the future".

I am not speaking for the other people helping to keep the site updated, but if any author wanted to write me with any additional info/comments to put on an item - I would be happy to do it.

It is hard to get good descriptions on some items- so if it helps clarify an item, then all the better.

If it was just a response to bad reviews, then they can add them to the reviews.
