"It gets rid of this annoying message, too!"
So says the message about Community Supporter Accounts at the top of the forums, but HOW?
I seem to recall doing it in the past, but I can find nothing in the options to turn it off!
I got my community supporter account the old-fashioned way, I earned it!
Now please, let me turn off the message trying to sell me one!

I don't have a CS account, but in my settings, I can see what you may be looking for ...
http://www.enworld.org/forum/profile.php?do=editoptions
and go to the VERY bottom of the list, there are two yes/no boxes for turning various things off.

No, those are for turning off the sponsor banner ads at the top and along the right side.
I don't see the 'community supporter' message as long as I am logged in. I think it is supposed to be auto-flagged to 'remove the annoying message'.

When I re-upped my CS account after letting it lapse, the message automatically disappeared. Same when I log in -- before logging in, the message is there, but it's gone after I log in. Seems like you have some kind of bug.

I thought that was his point?
Anyway, might this be the bug (or related) where renewing the subscription causes it to end instead? Or was that squished?

Its worth noting that the op is a moderator. Perhaps it has something to do with moderator settings?

I tried (again) to get rid of it by logging out and clearing my cache and logging back in. . . but to no avail!

Well, they certainly don't have the community supporter badge, no?
Cheers, LT.

Yes, but is seems someone forgot to add that User Group to your account. (My account has it and I don't have this problem.)

This I'm willing to bet. As I'm staff and I have the message when logged in as well.
Perhaps script needs to be enabled or written to turn off this message when moderators and staff log in.
