Create Social Group Forums?

I just created a new social group for a different part of my homebrew world and I'd like to add forums to it. I forget the process on how to do this.

There's no process - if you have a Group, you have a forum. Just hit "Create new discussion" at the bottom to start a thread.

Then how do I view the discussions like threads in a forum?

I'm not sure I understand your question. I see you've started a thread in your group. The "group" is the forum, the discussions are all threads.

Okay, here is what I mean.

I'd like to be able to view the discussions in my new social group the same way.

That's an old buggy hack for an earlier version of vBulletin we no longer have - the new default vBulletin social group functionality replaces it, and performs the same function.

Well that stinks. Oh well, nothing ever stays the same.

Question related to that: The two social groups I belong to (CMG and World of Kulan) used to have a number of threads in the "forum format" that Reveille is talking about. I don't see those threads now in the social group. Are they still here or are they lost somewhere?

How did you find that? It's not linked from the social group page and it's not linked from the Hosted Sites listing.

Request, then: Could the old social group forums be linked from the social group pages? Many thanks!

Ok, this is great for Kulan (thanks guys!), but how about for the other social groups that had/have forums? It would just be nice for there to be an obvious link on the social group page (like there used to be).
