Figured it out

Well, I can't open my last thread I started, "Go to First New Post?" It always gives a "Redirect Loop" error. Maybe the quotation marks in the thread title are causing trouble?

Anyway, I figured out that the text link I was seeing when my subscriptions page loaded ("Go to first new post") was actually the alt text for the image that appears in front of the thread. And when you click on that image, it takes you straight to the first new post instead of having to click "go to first unread." So that's cool. I thought it was just an icon.

yeah, i could tell by your thread title and roll-over text what you wanted, but i couldn't open that thread (got that redirect error) to tell you the answer to your question -- glad you got it figured out

Heh. No-one was able to open your previous thread. Its Views are still at 1.

The problem is probably the 'new post' part at the end of the title. 'cause it's also used by the go to first new post function. E.g.:
