Banner Size for Ads

Do finished banners need to be 728x79 or can I do my own approximate size?

I think the system resizes them... I'm not actually completely sure! I'll check into it.

The system will resize them automatically using a trim to fit operation. This means that if you don't have the proportions right something will be lopped off. Note that if your banner is *smaller* than the allowed size the system won't scale it up.

Ah, perfect. I just think the header banner is too long and skinny. I'll keep the height, I just wanted to cut down on the width a bit. Thanks!
