Banned for a week on the Circvs, no idea why.

For some reason or another I've been banned for a week at the Circvs. I don't have any idea as to why, or even if there is a reason. I'm not mad or anything, I'm just very, very confused and perplexed by it all because I don't believe I've done anything wrong.

If one of the moderators there could look into it, I'd be grateful. I can't find any contact information for the Circvs, the link seems to be broken.

My last post was a snarky comment to Ovi, in response to a snarky comment from him. That's the only incindary thing I can think of and that's just par for the course over there. Not even a real blip on the 'oh nos' meter, especially since it was in Self-Flag.

When I logged on I got this message:

You have been banned for the following reason:
Happy Birthday, Mom!

Date the ban will be lifted: April 12th, 2009, 12:00 AM

Thanks, this is my only way to contact a Circvs moderator (Bront or JC I believe).

At first I thought it was some sort of belated April's fools joke.... Now I'm not so sure.

JC Appears to have intentionally banned you. *shrug*
Reason: As little as you might expect. I think he's just being contrary.

This is not the place to discuss moderation on CM.

Kirinke, this is not the only way to get in touch with moderators. There's a thread stickied to the top of this forum (Meta - "How to contact a moderator") that's loaded with moderator addresses, including Morrus'. Please take your inquiry to e-mail.

Although I'll point out that Morrus is not currently running CM, having turned it over to JC and Bront. I'm pretty sure that CM gives you a method to get in touch with them. Just log out to check.

I have emailed Bront, though. Hopefully he'll check in with you if needed.
