Stop the "Stop the edition wars" threads!

This post might sound a bit snarky, but I assure you I'm quite serious when I say that all of the "Stop the edition wars" crap is way more annoying to me than edition wars ever have been. And on top of that, they come up way, way more frequently than actual "edition wars."

Everywhere I look, whether Twitter, ENWorld, blogs, I see people complaining about edition wars and screaming about how edition wars are splintering the community and killing our dogs.

Not that I particularly care to look for them, but I can't remember the last time I've actually seen an edition war.

Can we please, please, PLEASE stop all the hyperbolistic, reactionary, annoying anti-edition wars threads? Pretty please? With cherries on top?

To add to this, can we make "In before the lock" a thread-ban offense or something? Why do people think they can just post IBTL and nothing else, oftentimes in perfectly civil threads? They're basically just being nuissances.

Just keep reporting them, using the report button. That way, the moderators will see them and if it's becoming a running thing from a particular person then action can be taken.
