Moderation question

another rpg industry doomsday article (merged: all 3 "Mishler Rant" threads)

I'm not usually one to question moderation, but I was enjoying participating in the Mishler thread before I got a threadban. I understand the moderation, its just that the threadban seems harsh. I wasn't harassing or insulting a particular person, and there hadn't been a civility warning. I may have crossed the line, but in my opinion what I said was more deserving of an edit/warning combo then a threadban.

I like it when people ask. TCO, you can either PM hm using the boards PM system, or drop him an email; the email addresses are in a sticky thread at the top of this forum.

Incidentally, a threadban usually occurs when someone has a fairly rude or aggressive tone across several posts within a given thread (as opposed to across a number of threads.) It isn't unheard of for us to rescind them once the person has had a chance to talk to the moderator. I'm not up to speed on this particular case, but drop Umbran a line as Eridanis suggested.
