Just joined the site forums. I have a few questions and a plug:
(1) Do you guys do any form of online pnp games? (Maptool and the like?)
(2) Are there any documentation sources for an e8 system as opposed to an e6? I'm looking for what sort of capstone feats make sense in an e8 system.
(3) Don't hate me, but given your guys' focus on e(n) systems, I thought it might do your hearts well to know that I'm lead/admin on a neverwinter nights 2 persistent world that's getting set to implement a custom scripted e8 level system. We'll be the first (to my knowledge) neverwinter nights 2 server to use an e(n) level system, so wish us luck. We've done our best to apply the e6 capstone feat ideas to an e8 system (ex. Barbarians getting DR as a capstone feat, paladins getting their damage made as 'good' damage, etc..) If you're curious, check us out at the link in my signature.
Thanks guys, great site you got.
Troy

Yes, sorry, but the "EN" is largely a historical reference. "Eric Noah's Unofficial D&D Third Edition News" was set up prior to the release of 3rd edition D&D, and we are it's descendant in continuity. We've been here longer than e6 idea (which I think was born in our house rules forum).
Anyhow, welcome to the site! We talk a lot about the various editions of D&D, but discussion of other games is also welcome.

Indeed it was, though I forget who posted the first thread. It was a fairly prominent poster here though. Blah. Serves me right for getting drink on a Wednesday night.
To the other unanswered questions:
1) There's a PbP forum here, which you can find on the main forum index, but otherwise there are no supported tools created by or for ENW. However, you may want to take a look at the forum to see how people run them... perhaps some of them do use programs.
2) Your best bet is to post this in the 3E forum, from whence E6 originated. Also, you could do a search on Google using the parameter "site:enworld.org" for other threads. The vBulletin search is restricted to community supporters, since it takes up a good deal of bandwidth.
Also, welcome to ENWorld! Enjoy your stay!

Reason: drink
Thanks guys. My confusion on the meaning of EN. I searched for EN and found a post on ENWORLD about e6, and assumed it was the focus of the forums (my mistake).
Maybe I'll go back and pm the guy who posted about e6.

The 3e House Rules forum is pretty dead these days, but you wouldn't be off-topic in asking if anyone did an e6 (or e8) for Pathfinder in the Pathfinder forum, and that's got quite a bit of traffic right now.
Cheers, -- N

And this is the thread someone started a bit back about Pathfinder E6.
If you're curious for some screens, look here: ImageShack Gallery
These show the overland map, the new custom built e8 UI, and some general pics from our last area update.

I believe that is the case. He also has a credit in Trailblazer.
Indeed he does.
I have not studied E6 in enough detail (although I know enough to know that largely agree with the sentiment).
Ryan is credited in Trailblazer because he first compiled/analyzed a lot of the SRD data*. I referred often to his crosstabs while rebuilding my own analysis. It is fair to say he was the trailblazer on my methodology.
* It's a very old thread; Ryan mentions that he built the data set when he was home sick with nothing else to do. I am sure you will all join me in wishing Ryan a case of swine flu so we can see what comes out of him next.
