I thought there was a no politics rule here?
So why are there political ads showing up in the sponsor bar? I thought I came here to get away from that crap in real life.

They are from goggle ads. Russ doesn't have control of them. And the rule is no politics discussion by members.

Yes. We're sorry about that, but sometimes it shows stuff that doesn't really match the site. And they certainly don't follow our local user rules.

See you missed your chance. The correct response was become a community supporter and turn the offensive ads off

The other predictable response, which I still can't resist posting , is: FF+ABP+NS=win.

So, for example, I have no direct experience with any of these ad-type problems people are on about, around here. Or anywhere else online, for that matter. . .
