Posting what type of links is going over the line? I'm not planning on posting any porn links or anything like that, but is it ok to post links to things that wouldn't follow EN's gramma rules? For example, a joke in poor taste, or a sex advice column, or something like that (assuming I had a reason to link them, which I don't, i'm just asking for future reference)

Don't link to anything illegal. Don't link to anything that you wouldn't post here. Don't link to religious or political sites, unless there is a genuine gaming benefit (usually some kind of educational value). Don't spam the boards with links elsewhere. Keep your links on topic.

well, here's a case study. someone a while back posted a link to a japanese commercial starring arnold scwchwartzenegger in which he exclaims "BWAIN!", which makes no sense to non-japanese. In addition, it has nothing to do wiht d20 afaik. HOWEVER, it was very funny and I am glad it was posted.

Just because someone else gets away with it, doesn't mean you should try
How about this as a non-binding guideline: If it's been a week or two since the last humorous off-topic thing like that, then it's not going overboard (and mark it as [OT]). If we start getting 3 or 4 a day, then it would be a Bad Thing (TM).
