constantly not allowed on the boards

For some reason I can't access the boards from my labtop. It has been so for more than a week. How am I typing this now, you ask? Well, I cleverly clicked on a link to one of Olive's posts, from the news page. Strange, aye? Any possible explanation? Am I the only one consistently not being allowed on?

Doesn't happen to me. Worste thing the boards to do me is not let me vote sometimes and then it forgets who I am in midsession. I assure you it is nothing personal, if it was, I am sure I would be the first banned

Your problem is that your labtop isn't a computer! It's the area you do your science experiments on. Try from a computer, and you'll probably have better luck.

Seriously, I'm not sure. Hopefully, you have cleaned out your cookies and cache. Are you behind a firewall? Change your security settings temporarily, and see if that makes a difference.

Hmmm. The new newspage shouldn't affect... aha! For a few days, while he was fiddling with settings, everyone had trouble. Could that be it?

I had the same problem sporadically for a few days shortly after the Newspage was switched over...not sure if the problem was related to teh newspage though...I just went to the history for my browser and clicked on a past link...then backtracked to the main from there

haven’t had the problem in about a week....

I did go to my user prefs and turn off the news ticker around that time...might’ve been what fixed it.
