Just asking because the "To many connections" errors every evening are getting a bit tiresome.

But I guess there isn't much that can be done, right?

I've been getting the "too many connections" errors a lot more frequently too lately. Typically during the busy hours between 12 and perhaps 4 Eastern time. I'm curious if this is due to the server change in part or simply because ENWorld is getting too popular

I've been running into this problem every weekday from around 11:00 am to 1:00pm US Central time.

If the problem is, in fact, site popularity, you could address this by replacing the front page with:

It's just a stupid little configuration thing. Easy to fix... except that I've been waiting for 2 weeks for the login details I need to do it. I'm getting rather annoyed with cyberstreet right now.

Well, nothing to offer, save the standard bit of advice:
a) Patience bears sweet fruit, though I'm not sure how much patience you've spent on cyberstreet

b) When in doubt, do your post on <insert your favourite text editor> before posting. Yea, I know, it's troublesome, but better that than losing your post and screaming in agony, right?

Anyway, i seem to be facing similar problems around +/- 1 hour around this time. Just FYI.

Couldn't you set the max connections to, say, a billion, and not have to worry about it again?
