Question...odd thing happening.

Ok so I'm reading a thread, I decdide to post a reply...and do. The page reloads complete with my reply. All happy here. I go away and read other threads. After a few minutes I go back to the thread I posted to before...My reply and others since I first visited it are gone. I come back later still....poof it returns. This has happened twice now.

Weird.

Sounds like the refresh problem that's affecting a number of people. A forced reload of the page (Ctrl-click on reload button in IE, presumably the same in Netscape) should fix it.

Sometimes you even need to refresh the forum list, the thread list and the thread in question before all three display your post correctly. I wonder if anybody has found a permanent fix, as it apparently happens only to some users. Maybe my cookie settings are wrong...

Similar experience for me: I voted and posted on Sir Edgar's Poll (How much do you mix genres in your game?) yesterday. Last evening, I got an e-mail saying someone had responded to my post. I came back this morning, and my post is gone, the poll shows that I have not voted, and the e-mailed link of the response gives me an invalid link error.

It's not just refresh- there are other posts on this thread that weren't there yesterday.
